With a stellar career spanning acting, stunt work, choreography, and directing, Cheng’s expertise and contributions are unparalleled. From his beginnings in Hong Kong to his notable collaborations with the Jackie Chan Stunt Team and Hollywood productions, Cheng has left an indelible mark on the film industry, choreographing action scenes for MR. NICE GUY, WHO AM I, SHANGHAI NOON, RUSH HOUR, RUSH HOUR 2, THE SCORPION KING and THE RUNDOWN. As a result, Andy has worked with a who's who of impressive directors, such as Peter Berg, Terence Malick, Michael Bay, Wes Craven and Destin Daniel Cretton on the Marvel blockbuster SHANG-CHI.
Andy's directorial debut came in 2005 with END GAME, starring Cuba Gooding Jr., James Woods and Burt Reynolds. He next directed the action feature REDLINE, starring Eddie Griffin and Tim Matheson. Andy's work has landed him five Taurus World Stunt Awards including Best Fight and Best Specialty Stunt, and in 2021, was recognized by the Bruce Lee Foundation and the Asian World Film Festival with the Bruce Lee Award for his dedication to Martial Arts.
